Activities

Below is some inspiration as to some of the activities you can do when staying at Hory 7. Your hosts Rob and Jindra Davies live all year round in Sklenařice.. Something that often surprises passers by!

We are keen outdoor enthusiasts and when our family commitments allow, we love to be out and about. We actively Rock Climb, Ski, Mountain Bike, Sail and Hike.

Both of us have worked as certified Rock Climbing Instructors and have extensive experience having climbed globally. Rob is a Professionally qualified Mountaineering Instructor and a full member of AMI. www.ami.org.uk

We also love food! Winters can be long in the mountains so we spend a lot of our winter nights cooking great food.

Ski

A 2 minute walk from the door is the Metlak and Sklenařice Ski areas. A few minutes drive away is Paseky, Šachty and Rokytnice Ski Areas. The areas around the house are particularly suited to beginners, intermediates and children

Cross Country Skiing

The Prepared trails start in the village and extend all around the area. Sure to give your legs the work out they need!

Ski Alpinism

The Krkonoše plateau has some exceptional tours for those who like going up and down. Or you can take the lift up from Harrachov and tour across the plateau, then ski the piste back down to the valley.

Mountain Biking

Our big summer passions is E- Mountain Biking. We have ridden every inch of the local area and can give detailed help and guidance. We can offer E-bike rental as an option or help with guided rides.

Via Ferrata

20 minutes drive away you will find the excellent Via Ferrata's in Semily. Don't worry if you don't have experience as we can offer help and guidance.

Bouldering Wall

We are climbers so of course we have a training wall in our home. No experience but want to try? No Problem, we can offer advice and coaching.

Swim

Below the house is a public pool filled by the stream running through our grounds. Its never warm but also never busy. Most days you can have the pool to yourself!

Hiking

We are perfectly located between Jizerské hory and Krkonoše. Hundreds of KM of marked trails await you.
